A StrangerKind invites all to come and talk to strangers with curiosity and kindness.
A StrangerKind hosts events where people from the general public can have one-on-one conversations with volunteers and ASK the questions they otherwise might not have had the opportunity to do.
These unconventional conversations with strangers allow for questions to be asked and answered in a space that promotes curiosity, diversity, understanding and social cohesion.
A Stranger Kind is a voluntary association born from the Human Library initiative which aims to address people’s prejudices by helping them to talk to those they would not normally meet. The Human Library uses a library analogy of lending people rather than books.
A StrangerKind’s general ASK events are a different format of this initiative and is always free to the public whether in-person or online. Participants can volunteer a topic from their own life experiences.
See their social media accounts for monthly events.
