Agri-Expo Livestock presents the annual Big Farm Taste, a world-class showcase of the South African livestock industry. Visitors sample cheese, wine, craft beer, boergoat meat, “skaapstertjies”, tripe and ice cream, and are exposed to unique combinations such as Bok and Bier (boergoat meat and craft beer next to the braai). An array of craft and artisan products such as wine, Karoo lamb sosaties, roosterkoek, steak, yoghurt and ice cream are available for tasting and sale at food and wine stalls as well.
Old and young discover farm life during a full-day programme that includes performances by popular Afrikaans singers, a performance by line dancers, Boeresport (sack racing, egg throwing and tug-of-war), a Big Ice Cream Eating Competition and a Big Braai Competition.
