Culture Connect: Brutalism Basics

Culture Connect is starting an online talks programme and selling , locally made art, design and craft staring with Brutalism Basics. Which will continue when tours are permitted in the lifting of lockdown regulations.

The talks begin with Brutalist architecture, the international style that grew out of the early-20th century modernist movement; it is still controversial. First up is Brutalism Basics by Kate Crane Briggs.

Kate holds a BA Hons in Art History at Norwich, she worked in the London art world for 20 years. Briggs started Culture Connect SA in 2012. Kate was selected to be a pioneer Airbnb experience host and a Context Travel art specialist guide when both companies launched in Cape Town, their first African city.
