Looking for something fun and unique to do in the CBD, Clay Cafe recently opened a new craft venue and restaurant in the buzzy Bree Street precinct. Famous for their family-run ceramic painting experiences, the new store updated the same ethos and experiences for a grown-up audience although kids are still welcome.
Clay Café in the City hopes to teach like-minded adults to be creative, learn new techniques and just have some fun while enjoying great tapas and relaxing music. Creative Director Jade Saunders’ aim is to encourage more creative experimentation with ceramic painting.
And the result is fuss-free brunch and dinner craft sessions paired with a vibey atmosphere. Whether you’re entirely new to the game or know your way around the art of ceramics, the Clay Cafe staff are on standby friendly staff to give some pointers on painting techniques and colour recommendations.
Social distancing protocols are in place, and tables are spaced apart to ensure safety. We highly recommend that you book ahead as walk-in space is limited.
