AEG and Big Concerts present a live performance by British superstar Ed Sheeran, who tours South Africa for the first time ever.
Sheeran continues his rise as one of the world’s most successful and talented musical stars. Selling-out stadiums across the globe, he recently finished his native UK run, including four sold-out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium – the troubadour sold over 1.1 million tickets in the UK, making one of the biggest tours the UK has ever seen.
A songwriter of a generation, Sheeran was awarded a MBE for his services to music and charity at the end of 2017, and last month, he took home two prestigious Ivor Novello Awards for ‘Songwriter of the Year’ and ‘Most Performed Work’ for his monster hit Shape of You. To date, he has won 5 BRIT Awards, 4 Ivor Novello’s, 4 Grammy’s, 6 Billboard Music Awards and more.
Sheeran’s supporting act is British singer/songwriter Passenger, whose single Let Her Go was nominated for a BRIT award and won an Ivor Novello Award for the ‘Most Performed Work’.
