Food shouldn’t just be delicious, it should be plenty of fun to create, too! Thanks to Food Jams, a fantastic Cape Town-based company with cuisine at its centre, anyone can cook up a fantastic feast with a number of awesome food courses. Food Jams is a party where cooking and eating are only half the fun.

MEXICAN FIESTA FOOD JAM

Join Food Jam in celebration while they party like it’s our mañana and cook a Mexican feast fit for the gods. The Food Jam includes a four-course menu, recipes, a welcome drink (with or without a kick) and three hours of festive fun – and it’s also open to all ages!

You are welcome to bring your own drinks. The menu caters for gluten- and dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian and carnivorous guests equally – guests will be asked to share any dietary requirements they would like organisers to know about seven days prior to the event and the kitchen is strictly halaal.

Food Jam

CHOCOLATE WITH CHEF BHUPENDER KUMAR AND MINIMALIST CHOCOLATE

Under the guidance of Food Jam’s master chef, Chef Bhupender Kumar, you’ll learn the essential skills you will only need to learn once when handling chocolate, fillings and flavourings, as well as relevant information for preparing the recipes.

This cooking experience includes a two-hour practical session, all ingredients, a skills booklet, an apron to wear on the day, a tea towel, substantial snacks upon arrival, beverages, all cooking equipment and teaching resources are provided at Soute Studio for use on the day.

420 BAKED BRUNCH FOOD JAM

Food Jam takes you on a private journey through a great green experience while you work together, guided by expert chefs, to create a feast for the senses, body and mind.

The menu includes Cape Town’s finest bud in collaboration with experienced small-scale growers. The brunch menu includes breakfast soufflés, brûléed fruits, grandma’s flapjacks, exceptional eggs and hollandaise, shakshuka, fabulous fritters and refreshing salsas, where you will learn how to incorporate a little green into your everyday cooking.

FISH FABRICATION
