Gold Restaurant and Theatre is a unique immersive African experience offering a taste into the continent’s food and people.
After being welcomed by praise-singing, guests are led to their seats in one of seven dining room options adorned with masks, artifacts, and bright colored cloths. They are then served a set menu with dishes from fourteen different countries.
Guests can learn about each meal’s cooking technique, how it was spiced, and more about the place of origin of the food. The food is hearty, halaal-certified, and perfect for sharing with family and friends.
Together with the feast, there are a plethora of activities to keep guests entertained and enthralled. From traditional storytelling with Mali puppets to drumming experiences, dancing to marimba drums, curated spice tastings, face painting, and hand-washing (government regulations permitting). Picnics in World War II sidecars are also a must.
This is African hospitality at its best.
