Green and Vegan is the result of a struggle to eat out. Organised by Patrick and Karen, two committed vegans aspiring to live a sustainable lifestyle, the experience is held at their cozy home in the heritage area of Green Point Village.
Green & Vegan host monthly pop up dining events to a diverse group of people from South Africa and abroad and guests can expect to receive a welcome drink on arrival.
The next dates for the Green and Vegan pop up dining are Saturday 21 March and Saturday 11 April.
The venue is not licensed so guests are requested to bring their own wine/beer or beverage of choice. No corkage is charged.
Menus are posted on either the Green & Vegan Facebook page or on Instagram closer to the event date.
A typical format to their menus consists of a welcome drink, the starter, Amuse Bouche, the main course, a trio of desserts, a vegan cheese platter and tea or coffee to finish.
It is not a requirement to be vegan to attend. Most guests are not vegan, but curious to try plant-based dining. Singles, couples or friends are all welcome.
Minor changes to menu may occur due to ingredient availability.
