Haskell Vineyards is hosting a series of winemaker dinners to celebrate its 20th anniversary as a benchmark producer of luxury wines.
The dinners take place at the winery’s popular Longtable Restaurant with the theme being to cast light on different terroirs, regions and wines. A variety of wines are showcased alongside those of Haskell Vineyards with the highlighted wines being available for purchase each night.
Tickets include a three-course meal with six wines. Each event gets underway at 6pm for 6.30pm.
The first dinner takes place on 26 May with subsequent occasions being held once a month till October. Dinner dates and collaborating wines and wineries are:
- Villiera – 26 May
- Rickety Bridge – 24 June
- Illimes Wine – 28 July
- Eenzaamheid – 25 August
- Kat se Snor – 29 September
- Migliarina Wines – 27 October
The first dinner is to be prepared by Haskell Longtable Restaurant head chef, Ryan Zaayman and his team. On the menu is a hearty tomato and basil soup, followed by lamb shoulder served with pomme puree. Dessert is a melt-in-the-mouth chocolate brownie.
