Bay Harbour Market offers an authentic, eclectic blend of all things South African. Guests browse high-quality gifts and mementos, sing along to the sounds of local musicians and sample street food.
The market is housed in an abandoned fish factory turned vibrant wharfside warehouse space filled with energy, colour, creativity and sound. Guests can expect a proudly South African range of unique handmade items, from leather goods to timepieces, art and quirky stationery, to jewellery and fashion. Health and wellness products are also on offer. Guests can also treat themselves to a massage from the former personal masseuse to Mandela.
To fuel guests shopping expedition, all food being sold is freshly made and supplied by local farmers, artisans and small local producers – and everyone is catered for with vegetarian, gluten-free and Banting-friendly options available among the local Cape Malay treats, South African game, fresh seafood, moreish steak wraps, spicy Tunisian delights, sushi and Chinese cuisine made by Chef Wang. Koeksister, pancakes and sticky sweets are also availabe, along with smoothies, fresh juice, freshly-brewed coffee, KWV wines and various craft beers.
