We can’t believe it’s March already! With so many fun events and activities that kicked off the new year, time has really sped by. As we step into Autumn, we’ve highlighted more great events this month that will have you entertained and makes the most of the lingering warm weather.

CAPE TOWN OPERA PRESENTS ICONS AND BON APPETIT!

Cape Town Opera kicks off their 2022 season with Icons, a chorus performance paying tribute to the world’s most iconic opera choruses. They’re also hosting Bon Appetit!, a pairing of music by the opera and food from the Vineyard Hotel show kitchen.

KAMERS/MAKERS AUTUMN MARKET

The popular KAMERS/Makers Market’s first show of 2022 is back under the oaks at the Blaauwklippen Estate in Stellenbosch, featuring over 160 of South Africa’s finest artisans and live music.

DURBANVILLE HILLS HARVEST TOUR

Durbanville Hills host a series of personal harvest experiences including a welcome drink, cellar tour, tank and barrel tasting, mini wine-blending experience, and a two-course dinner at the Tangram Restaurant.

CAPE ORCHID SOCIETY AUTUMN SHOW

The Cape Orchid Society hosts their autumn show entitled ‘Discovering Orchids’ featuring hundreds of unusual and exotic orchids on display and for sale.

CHEVERELLS FARM SHED AND COTTAGES

Cheverells Farm Cottages is a family-owned apple and pear farm offering quaint and cosy self-catering accommodation in Elgin, a Country Café, gift shop, wellness studio and a glass Greenhouse nursery.

JAZZART DANCE THEATRE PRESENTS MERAKI

Jazzart Dance Theatre graduates present Meraki, a performance that highlights three works the dancers have co-created since enrolment in 2019.

GRAND PAVILLION’S BELVEDERE BRUNCH

Grand Pavillion hosts The Art of Brunch, with Belvedere Vodka, featuring a gourmet brunch paired with cocktails. The event includes a two-Course menu paired with two cocktails.

CAPE TOWN CARNIVAL

The Cape Town Carnival hosts five Carnival Hubs each put on five 30 minute shows throughout the day, where 6 – 8 groups show off their skills to tell a story through art, song, dance, music and more.

THE CANNABIS EXPO

The Cannabis Expo Cape Town featurES over 150 exhibitors, networking and entertainment spaces. The expo also includes The Cannabis Food Market and The Cannabis Convention hosting moderated panel discussions and presentations from global industry leaders.

KIRSTENBOSCH SUMMER SUNSET CONCERS

The popular Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts return to the Garden with a two-show only, limited ticket line-up featuring pop/RnB artist Jimmy Nevis and modern folk singer-songwriter Jeremy Loops.
