The Mindfulness Institute offers training, reading groups, retreats and more. Its main aim is to promote wellness and reduce stress through practising mindfulness.
The Institute offers programmes in the City Bowl and Northern and Southern suburbs of Cape Town as well as in Stellenbosch, Paarl and Somerset West. The courses are facilitated by psychologists, counsellors and mindfulness practitioners. Each course consists of guided instruction in mindfulness and meditation practices, gentle stretching and mindful yoga, group discussions and more.
Those who suffer from everyday stress, chronic pain, anxiety, fatigue, migraines and high blood pressure are encouraged to attend, along with those who simply want to further explore mindfulness.
