FRANSCHHOEK UNCORKED FESTIVAL

12 participating wineries in and around Franschhoek showcase this season’s new release wines accompanied by live music, great food and other special events.

CAPE TOWN INTERNATION KITE FESTIVAL

Cape Mental Health invites everyone everywhere to fly kites against the winds of adversity at this year’s CTKiteFest, a hybrid event aimed at raising funds for essential free mental healthcare services.

SEEING THE INVISIBLE AR ART EXHIBITION

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is one of 12 participating gardens playing host to an international augmented reality (AR) art exhibition. The ground-breaking exhibition allows visitors to observe and virtually engage with 13 contemporary artworks.

ZIP ZAP CIRCUS: JOURNEY RETURNS

Zip Zap Circus presents the 4th rendition of Journey Returns – a mesmerizing collaboration with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra (CTPO), at the Artscape Opera House, for two days only.

NOORDHOEK OPEN GARDENS 2021

Noordhoek Open Gardens features 18 gardens on show over two days. Visitors can explore properties with indigenous palettes, eco- gardens, organic food gardens, woodlands, a Zen garden and wetlands pool, as well as small cottage-style gardens.

PUPPET PLANET: THANDI FINDS A FOSSIL

The Jungle Theatre Company presents a new puppet show, Thandi Finds a Fossil, on local television broadcaster Cape Town TV. The story is about a 9-year-old girl named Thandi and her magical dog, Oogies, who can travel back in time.

GARDEN ROUTE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The Garden Route International Film Festival features a ivirtual festival as a destination for filmmakers to showcase their films. These are feature films, short films; including documentaries, narratives, animation and experimental films.
