With no service staff and no doors, windows or walls to its professional kitchen, Pilcrow & Cleaver puts guests in direct contact with the chefs and cooks who make the food.
Pilcrow & Cleaver opened in December 2019 and a new menu has been created every week, complimented by proudly South African wine. Guests can unwind after work at the separate bar section, or talk to the chefs as they prepare homemade flavours.
Pilcrow & Cleaver has now changed its offering to a 2-course lunch, or a 4-course lunch/dinner option where guests can make the menu their own unique experience, choosing anything on the menu to form part of their 2-course lunch or 4-course dinner offering. And during the visit and in between courses, you can expect special secret treats from the chef.
Pilcrow & Cleaver follows the no-tipping movement and believes in pay equality from front-to-back of house.
