A three day masterclass hosted by the Permaculture Institute for Southern Africa and Farmer Angus with regenerative farming expert Joel Salatin.
Participants of this masterclass get the opportunity to learn all about Salatin’s productive systems. Salatin is the owner of Polyface Farm that is on the forefront of grass-based farming for 40+ years and represents America’s premier non-industrial food production oasis. He is the writer of numerous books such as Folks, This Ain’t Normal, You Can Farm, and Salad Bar Beef.
He’s covering as many aspects of his polyculture system as possible, from technical, ecological, economic, to social, educational, and cultural.
Subjects included in the course are soil, grazing, health, cattle, poultry, pigs, and rabbits. He gives attention to forestry, water management, climate, and composting. Moreover, he’s zooming in on his approach to direct marketing and the training of a new generation of farmers.
Salatin’s aim is to support others in getting good results with maximum added value to the planet, the entire society, and themselves.
There are only 100 spaces available per workshop. Lunch, tea, and coffee are included. Workshop-goers also get Salatin’s latest Build Book.
