Sasa Hivi Explorers offers a wide range of tours tailored to its clients’ needs. Led by Sarina Jordaan – an enthusiastic and knowledgeable travel and tour operator – Sasa Hivi’s tours are centred around having fun while exploring the Cape.
One or two-day tours include the Cape Peninsula, the Cape Winelands, Table Mountain and the West Coast. Guests can opt to try activities such as shark cage diving, whale watching, a wildlife safari or the Elgin canopy tour. More adventurous tour add-ons include paragliding, surfing lessons, helicopter flights over Cape Town, scooter tours, sky diving, scuba diving, horse riding, hiking and more.
Longer tours include the Big Garden Explorer which heads east along the world-famous Garden Route for anywhere between 3 days and 3 weeks. Optional activities include trips to the Cango Caves, Monkey Land, an ostrich farm, Birds of Eden, the Elephant Sanctuary, Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary, a safari at Botlierskop, kayaking, bungee jumping, and paragliding.
Sasa Hivi also offers something a little different: the option for guests to sponsor a local from a low income background to join them on their tour. Not only does this ‘give back’ to someone who might not otherwise have ever visited any of the Cape’s tourist attractions, but it also presents the opportunity to spend a day with a South African – other than their guide – who can give them a further insight into South African culture. This ‘Share the View‘ initiative, it is hoped, enriches the experience for all involved.
Cost: From R3800 for two people for one day trip (from R400 per additional person)
