Schweppes Bartenders Lab is an amplified chef’s table created by master bartender Kurt Schlechter and Head Chef Julian Mckenzie. This is an experiential flavour experience with Schweppes at the heart of its craft.
McKenzie and Schlechter expertly craft their menu using Schweppes’ exciting new tonic variants; Floral Pink Tonic Water and Cucumber Tonic Water. These innovative new flavour combinations and spirit pairings ensure something to please even the most discerning cocktail connoisseur and foodie.
Situated at The V&A Waterfont’s all new Cause Effect Cocktail Kitchen & Cape Brandy Bar, guests can book a seat for up to 6 and have a 3-course cocktail food pairing- all with a dedicated personal mixologist. With revolving menu themes, every 3 months guests get to experience new uniquely South African sensory experiences, ensuring there is always something new to look forward to. The current theme is ‘Floral Ocean’.
The Cause Effect Cocktail Kitchen & Cape Brandy Bar is inspired by Cape Town’s fynbos, oceans, vineyards and mountain. Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy their seasonal drinks, canapes and small plates menu.
