Siba’s Restaurant


sibaMulti-award-winning cookbook author and chef Siba Mtongana has opened her first restaurant at the Table Bay Hotel at the V&A Waterfront.

Simply named Siba, the restaurant is an experiential pop-up South African dining experience featuring authentic cuisine of African flavours served with a contemporary flair.

Siba’s offers three menus – a tapas menu, tasting menu and a Sunday Lunch menu.

The tapas menu includes a choice of welcome drinks and a selection of shared tapas such as mushroom kebabs, Asian chicken winglets, miso meatballs, lamb chops, salmon and more.

Siba’s tasting menu offers 3-course menus, with vegetarian options and a palette cleanser. Seared tuna, duck legs, beef short rib, prawns, spinach lasagne, mushroom risotto, Eaton mess, ice-cream cake, and cheesecake, are some of the meal options available.

The Sunday lunch menu is served family-style features roasted leg of lamb and chicken, a selection of sides and salads, and a choice of trifle or peppermint crisp tart for dessert.
