wine pairingFratelli Palmieri hosts a four-course Food and Wine Pairing Evening with Simonsig Wines.

The first course of seared gnocchi is paired with the Kaapse Vonkel Satin Nectar Rose. The second course is a squid ink sesame seafood bun paired with the Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose.

The main course is paired with the Kaapse Vonkel Brut and consists of exotic mushroom stuffed chicken with herb and mushroom risotto. The dessert is lavender shortbread with sorbet and is paired with the Kaapse Vonkel Satin Nectar.

Booking is essential. Limited seats are available.

  1. Everything sounds delicious but if I had to choose one course I am excited to try its the squid ink sesame seafood bun paired with the Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose. I am already salivating.

    • All 3 courses are mouthwatering and pairing definitely something I look forward to. The main course paired with the Kaapse Vonkel Brut which consists of the mushroom stuffed chicken with herb and mushroom risotto definitly stands out for me!

  2. In all honesty, it is so difficult to chose 1 meal as each has there own uniqueness, BUT if I have to choose, it would be both an honour and a first to try the starter squid ink sesame seafood bun paired with the Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose.
