The Cape Town City Ballet presents Spring Rhapsody, a demonstration of the dancers “unparalleled ability to entertain in the idiom of classical dance in all it’s forms”.
Robin van Wyk’s work written to George Gerschwin’s Stairway to Paradise is the main work on the programme, which also features a repeat of Ashley Killar’s Glazunov Variations. Other items include Spring Waters pas de deux, Johan Strauss’s Blue Danube and the Diane and Acteon pas de deux – a challenge to any dancer.
