Their speciality Seaward Sip and Soup tasting is available until 30 August and include comforting soups homemade and expertly paired with their best-selling, coastal-grown Seaward wines, for R150 per person.

The bakery produces slow-fermented, fresh sourdough bread and a treasure trove of sweet pies such as blueberry and nectarine pie, chocolate cream pie, pecan pie and lemon meringue pie.

Whether you’re on a family getaway, a romantic escape or travelling as a group, Time for Good activities are an essential, unforgettable add-on to your Spier experience. Each takes place either on the farm or in the surrounding community.

Eagle Encounters, established 2001, rehabilitates and releases birds of prey, promoting conservation and education. Birds of prey keep the farm’s ecosystem in balance, making it possible to naturally control pests, without pesticides.
Enjoy up-close-and-personal interactions with eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, kites, buzzards, snakes and lizards. Take part in heart-stopping falconry displays, where we fly birds to you.
Their Into the Wild sessions allow you to enjoy a leisurely hike on the farm with the Harris hawks freely following on and gliding around you.
From R500 per person and for a minimum of 2 people, Into the Wild sessions are bookable all year round. From R85 per person (R65 for children), entrance to Eagle Encounters, including access to the flying shows, are available all year round.
Spier is dedicated to creating a space for the whole family and even the little ones are VIP. All rooms can accommodate two children under the age of 12 in roll-out beds or cots.
