Ultra-trail Cape Town (UTCT) features four trail running races consisting of 100km, 65km, 35km and 21km that traverse sections of the Cape Peninsula attracting runners both locally and abroad.
All four races consist of technical terrain with steep ascents and descents, participants are reminded that the UTCT races are genuine mountain excursions, necessary care and respect must be taken when running within Table Mountain National Park and surrounds.
The areas and routes of the races include Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, Signal Hill, Orangekloof, Llandudno, Hout Bay, the Constantia Winelands, upper slopes of Kirstenbosch Nature Reserve and Devil’s Peak.
UTCT 2020 encourages supporters to join in the festive atmosphere and activities by cheering on the participants at the designated spectator zones at Gardens Rugby Club (Start/finish of all races). The other areas for spectators are the Alphen Green Belt and the UCT Tennis Club.
The event also hosts the Race Village where participants, spectators and guests are treated to food and beverage trucks, kids zone and other attractions.

The 100km, 65km and 35km races take place on Saturday 28 November, and the 21km race is on Sunday 29 November 2020.
